SADD/CHOICES Meeting

SADD/CHOICES will meet on Thursday, Septmeber 10th, from 11:00AM-12:00PM, in the Distance Learning Room. All members of SADD and CHOICES are encouraged to attend. Remember there will be a Pizza Party and you must have an invitation to enter.

CHOICES is co-sponsoring a Halloween Dance with the YMCA for students in grades 6-8. This event will be held at the YMCA.
Advisory Board Meeting

An Advisory Board meeting will be held at the Batesville Community School Corporation Administration Building at 4:00 p.m. Any parent or community member who would like to participate may attend this meeting.
Mix it Up Day

Choices and BMS will be working together to celebrate Mix it Up Day. Students will be given a number, as they pass through the cafeteria line, which will coincide with a table number. Students will then have a list of questions to verbally answer about themselves. This activity is to encourage students to get to know others in their grade who they do not normally eat and talk with.
Great American Smokeout

CHOICES and BMS will be working together to celebtate the Great American Smokeout. CHOICES students picked this year's theme as "Fresh & Clean". Students will be writing "smoke free/tobacco free" messages on the sidewalks, will have access to "Fresh & Clean" bookmarks in the Media Center, and will be given candy bags with the "Fresh & Clean" message.
BMS Dance

CHOICES and the BMS Student Council will co-host a dance from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Batesville Middle School. Guitar Hero will also be set up for those who would like to play.
BHS Fall Semi

CHOICES and the BHS Student Council will co-host the Fall Semi on November 20, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This event will be held at Batesville Primary School.
BMS Rewards Day

CHOICES will be providing one of the rewards for "demerit free" students on December 18. CHOICES will be setting up Guitar Hero, Rock Band and will have the Fatal Vision Goggles available for the students to use.
Movie Night at the Gibson

CHOICES is sponsoring a Movie Night at the Gibson for students in grades 6-8. Keep checking back for the title of the movie that will be playing as it has yet to be determined.
